Pietro filipi

our designers

Renowned designers stand behind the scenes of the designs and preparations of each collection. They are respected designers with a distinctive signature.
The entire process of creating a collection takes approximately 1 year. To prepare, many fashion shows are visited, especially in Paris and Milan – the places where Europe’s leading material producers showcase colours and materials for upcoming season. The team of designers discusses and develops the theme of each collection together. Work with a set of constructers and tailors in the modelling studio follows, where the first model is realized.

Jakub Bryxi - his work experience was gained through an internship at Paris’ Comédie Francaise theatre, among others. From the year 2000, he has been working for pietro filipi and simultaneously designs for his own brand BRYXI. For example, he created the dress for Aňa Geislerová for the release of the Christian Lacroix perfume Absynthe, or the focal dresses for the AVON campaign party in the fight against breast cancer.
He began in the position of a constructer and modeller and only then did he begin to work as a designer of the men’s collections. He was later appointed as Head Designer and from that time on he has been dedicated to designing trends for the women’s collection Selection, which is oriented toward luxurious business attire, as well as designing the complete line of men’s collections.

Anna Tušková - Anna focuses on designing pietro filipi’s Smart Casual line; more specifically, its denim sub-collection.
For her fashion studio Chatty, Anička was nominated for the Czech Grand Design 2009 award.

Hana Zárubová - Hana Zárubová creates the Smart Casual Weekend collection, which is a boldly designed collection, where her designer signature is significant.
Hana was also nominated for the creation of her fashion studio No. for the Czech Grand Design 2008 award. Her other successes include winning the Smirnoff 1999 competition, participating in the Czech Bene Fashion show in 2007 in New York, and preparing the attire for the EXPO 2010 in Shanghai.

Aňa Geislerová - Actress Aňa Geislerová has become an inseparable part of the design team from mid-2010. Currently, she is successfully working on her fourth collection under the pietro filipi brand. This Czech fashion icon transfers her personal style into her fashion designs. Creative thinking, feeling for esthetics, and free thinking (almost a prankster attitude) all come together and are reflected in the colour selection, creative patterns and novel combinations; all factors that express the strong personality of the wearer. This is always highlighted by unique details that are custom-ordered, for example special series of buttons, medallion tags, and humorous accessories. The collection is always produced in a limited series; therefore it ensures its female clients a specific and original look that will definitely not be seen in every shop window.
