Aòa for pietro with love
The actress´s own collection for the autumn-winter season features wool and leather coats, silk blouses, trousers and accesories such as hats or bags.
The pieces have additional bold details, such as specially designed gold buttons, embroidery, prints, tags and medals.
Aòa sought the inspiration from her childhood and her grandma‘s wardrobe. That‘s how jodhpurs were created, "My grandma Ellen owned a horse and she always wore those trousers when she went riding, I always wanted trousers like these."
Aòa herself sums up the collection as follows:
"This collection is for women who want to look decent (respectable?) but at the same time desire to be looked at. It is for day and evening wear; also afternoons, morning times and night- time could do as well….It is for women who like details and stories."
"The main element of the collection is the dove. The dove that avoids traps, the dove that is dedicated to women who are original and not afraid to wear what they want and how they want it. She is not a slave of fashion trends but thinks of clothing with emotion. One day she wants to be strong, the other day fragile, she wants to be seen but at the same time she wants to keep her secrets…"
Aòa is now preparing another collection fo the Spring – Summer season of 2011.
